The M-Track Duo offers the most comprehensive monitoring system for all available mic, line and instrument inputs via the headphone output or main jack outputs with zero latency. The USB/Direct switch (mono or stereo) allows you to select the source of the pre-listening to headphones and via the main outputs, between pre-listening to the computer (USB), pre-listening to all summed inputs in mono (Mono) and pre-listening to each separate input between right and left (stereo). This system greatly simplifies the recording of new parts, or the addition of parts to an existing composition.
