Quality luthiery.

Despite its most affordable price, the MM301-5's luthiery has received the utmost attention to offer bassists new to the instrument an attractive and very well finished bass. The body, crafted from poplar for strength, is highlighted by a high-gloss varnish. The sturdy, comfortable 4-point maple neck is topped by a varnished maple fingerboard, bringing even more clarity and snap to your notes.

Powerful, precise electronics.

On the electronics side, the MM301-5 is equipped with a double-coil pickup (known as a humbucker) featuring a higher output level than usual single-coil pickups. The sound produced by this pickup is very precise, powerful and round, both in clear tones and with distortion. To extend the sonic possibilities, the bass features two volumes and a general tone control for adjusting the brightness of the timbre. The bridge/cordial block incorporates independently adjustable bridges to fine-tune the action and harmonics of each string and ensure efficient sustain.
