Slight attenuation at either end of the frequency spectrum and a very slight phase shift created by the 1:1 ratio transformer characterize this mic preamp, which sounds so smooth you'll be able to use it on any source.
The 32CPRE+ delivers +20 to +70 dB of gain to accommodate all types of microphones, including ribbon mics. In addition to 180° phase rotation switches, a 48 V phantom power supply, a -20 input attenuator and a high-impedance instrument switch, the front panel is equipped with a combo jack / XLR input that lets you connect a microphone or instrument directly to the 32CPRE+ without having to access the rear panel of your 500 module stand.
A Harrison mic preamp wouldn't be complete without its legendary filters. As found in the original 3232 console and the latest 32Classic console, the filters have a very musical slope of 12 dB/octave. Its high-pass filter has a characteristic resonance peak of 3 dB. The range of the high-pass filter is 25 Hz to 3.1 KHz, and that of the low-pass filter is 160 Hz to 20 KHz.
