Ukiyo-E means "floating world image" in Japanese, which is the effect that a chorus can cause in the sound of an electric guitar. So Nux has combined three mythical analog choruses into this compact pedal. The three recreated modulations (ST Chorus, SCH-1, CE-1) are selectable via a dedicated knob to bring a nuanced palette of warm and deep chorus. The three knobs fine-tune the width, speed and intensity of the effect. The footswitch has a secondary Smart Tap Tempo function that allows you to set the speed of the effect by foot (after 2 presses to activate this mode). Very compact but full of possibilities with its modern options, the Nux Ukiyo-E is an inspiring concentrate of analog chorus.
