Dante is a revolutionary Ethernet-enabled digital audio technology developed by Audinate to meet the sound industry's growing demand for high-performance sound, routing flexibility and direct-to-computer recording at an affordable price. It employs CAT5 cable and standard network components to distribute multiple audio streams and embedded control data with sub-millisecond latency.
The M-DANTE is part of a wide range of digital audio networking cards available for the dLive system, to enable integration with other systems, digital splitting, multi-track recording and system expansion.
It provides 64 bidirectional audio channels at 48 kHz, and can be installed on any dLive I/O port equipped with an M-DL-ADAPT interface.
