The M-MADI is one of several digital audio networking options available for the dLive and GLD, allowing integration with other multitrack recording or system expansion systems. This card can be mounted in the I/O Module expansion slot of a GLD, or in any I/O port of a dLive system equipped with an M-DL-ADAPT interface card.
The dual-port MADI card supports up to two 64-channel bi-directional serial digital audio streams at 24bit/48kHz resolution, via two 75 ohm coaxial cables per port. An additional AUX connector can be configured to play the outputs of Stream 1, pass through the inputs of Stream 1, or as a Word Clock input or output. It can also be used to chain or split signals to multiple devices. The second port can be configured as an independent stream, or as a redundant backup connection using a second cable.
