When developing the new ECOCORD cable jacket material, Cordial completely dispensed with PVC. The alternative is called TPE-V, a blend of soft/elastic and firmer components, resulting in a cable that's just as flexible.

The ECOCORD range features rubber-like properties to ensure elasticity, flexibility and ease of winding. Specific components guarantee recyclability and notch resistance.
For every ECOCORD cable sold, a tree will be planted by the non-profit organization Trees for the Future (TREES), to offset components such as the copper used.
ECOCORD cables feature double shielding in copper braid and conductive plastic (to minimize microphonic effects) as well as a conductor cross-section of 0.50 mm² (conductor resistance < 39 Ω/km), ensuring particularly clear signal transmission.
NEUTRIK plugs in "Shabby Chic" design with retro styling reminiscent of the charm of patina on metal parts.
