Manufactured in the same Spanish facility as the rest of the HA product line, the HA73EQ Elite rack-mountable mic preamp equalizer features the classic full-featured recording channel that for generations has been prized for its rich, musical qualities and ability to dramatically enhance the sound of almost any source.
The HA73EQ Elite uses WIMA 5% capacitors in the EQ section as well as 3 vintage "Vinkor" hollow core inductors, so the EQ curves are virtually indistinguishable from HA's handcrafted EQs.
The HA73EQ's preamp section features gain, output trim, -20db pad, polarity reversal, high-pass filter and +48v phantom power. The EQ section of the HA73EQ includes a HIGH EQ, MID EQ, LOW EQ, variable high-pass filter and EQ Bypass. The HA73EQ is housed in a rugged British steel and aluminum 1RU chassis and uses an external power supply for low noise operation.
