The SSL 500 Series ULTRAVIOLET EQ stereo equalizer takes the famous FUSION minimal phase shift EQ section and puts it in the 500 Series format.

The ULTRAVIOLET EQ takes Fusion a step further by adding two dedicated midrange bands, with a unique Focus control, for the ultimate in equalization flexibility.

The perfect partner to the legendary 500 Series SSL Bus Compressor, the ULTRAVIOLET EQ builds on the SSL legacy of careful frequency selection and response curves to create a musical, intuitive equalizer designed to quickly produce professional quality sound for your mix.

Focus Mode: Focus Mode allows the user to concentrate on problematic frequencies or specific frequencies that they wish to emphasize or dampen. Pressing the "Focus" switch automatically reduces the selected Q setting and increases the available gain range beyond normal operation by +/-9 dB. In the best tradition of flexible SSL workflows, this transforms this soft-sounding, musical SSL equalizer into a more surgical tool.
