The LS400 is equipped with two single-coil, over-wound P-90 pickups, featuring a higher output level than usual single-coil pickups. The result: the sound is more powerful, but also more biting and present in the midrange than with conventional single pickups, a perfect combination with higher distortion levels. Each pickup has a volume and tone control, while the 3-position selector allows you to select the bridge pickup (for more aggressive tones), the neck pickup (for more generous bass), or a mixture of the two in the center position.
