NUX JTC-DRUMLOOP-PRO Looper and advanced drum machine

Foot control of the looper is provided by the multi-function switch on the left, following a tried-and-tested pattern: press once to start recording, press again to stop recording and start playback, and press a third time to record overdubs. A long press also mutes and reactivates overdub playback. A second operating scheme, activating the overdub on the second press, is also available!

A comprehensive drum machine

Alongside this comprehensive looper, the JTC incorporates a no less comprehensive and efficient drum machine to accompany you effectively in the studio or live. It features no fewer than 25 rhythms in 4/4, 10 in 3/4 and 5 Blues-oriented shuffle rhythms, adjustable in a tempo range from 40 to 240 BPM. For fans of on-the-fly adjustment, the BPM can also be changed via tap tempo on the left-hand switch, before recording begins and while the drum track is active. Starting the drum machine couldn't be easier: just press the right footswitch, and off you go! A further press launches a fill, while a double press will deactivate the drums.

A host of available parameters and comprehensive connectivity

To adjust the balance between your loop and the drum machine, the JTC features two front-panel potentiometers for setting the level of each part. It also offers three playback stop modes, from instant stop to smooth fade, and two start modes: at the press of a switch, or by capturing an input signal to facilitate startup by keeping a long press on the switch. On the output side, the JTC is not to be outdone, with a pair of stereo outputs in jack format, the left dedicated to amplifier level, the right for mixing desks with built-in speaker emulation.
