This set features a novel construction system, which uses a special aerospace-grade multifilament instead of the usual nylon multifilament. The coating is made of lacquered copper, a hypoallergenic material that also reduces parasitic noise under the fingers.
Pure copper replaces steel, nickel and phosphor bronze, which are generally stiffer. These materials have a lower specific weight than natural copper. The higher the specific weight, the better the acoustic performance.
