FOCUSRITE PRO ISA-828-MK2 ISA - 8 channels

Featuring a Lundahl LL1538 transformer on each input, each channel has the option of mic or line input, while inputs 1-4 also have an instrument jack on the front panel. Each mic preamp benefits from variable input impedance, to provide a range of sonic options when using microphones, with even an "ISA 110" setting, which replicates the impedance of the original Focusrite mic preamp.

The gain range is mind-blowing; Up to 60dB of gain with an additional +20dB of continuously variable compensation, offering a whopping 80dB. The high pass filter features a variable cutoff frequency between 16 and 420 Hz. Along with its high-pass filters, six-segment LED indicators - calibratable per channel - and a switchable "insert" from the front panel allow the ISA 828 MkII to use processors, at line level, such as compressors or equalizers.

Dedicated connectors for mic and line level inputs allow all kinds of sources to be connected simultaneously, making the ISA 828 MkII perfect for permanent installation in a rack. New to the ISA 828 MkII is a switch-mode power supply that offers improved efficiency, reduced heat generation, and extremely reliable and quiet operation. The optional AN ISA ADN8 expansion card distills eight outputs to Dante, ADAT, and AES3 protocols at rates up to 24-bit/192kHz.
