The timeless silhouette that inspired the design of the TL300 needs no introduction: the characteristic single notch for excellent access to the last fret, combined with two single pickups, represent an unmistakable visual signature. This classic configuration has been adopted by Italian manufacturer Eko to make the TL300 an attractive, ergonomic and above all versatile guitar for beginner players.
Quality luthiery.
Despite its most affordable price, the TL300's luthiery has received the utmost attention to offer guitarists new to the instrument an attractive and very well finished guitar. The body, made from sturdy poplar, is highlighted by a high-gloss varnish. The sturdy, comfortable 4-point screwed maple neck is topped by an Eko resin WPC (Wood Polymers Composites) fingerboard that adds smoothness and stability to the maple's snap.
A versatile configuration.
On the electronics side, the TL300 is equipped with 2 single-coil pickups with a well-known layout, much appreciated for their versatility and efficiency. Very much at home on bright clean tones and light saturation, they can also be very biting when combined with powerful distortion. The 3-position selector widens the palette of tones offered by the instrument, with three associated positions, providing clean, precise tones. This configuration of the electronics delivers the bright, twangy tones typical of this singlecut model, renowned in blues, country and rock music.
