The timeless silhouette that inspired the design of the TL400 is no longer in evidence: the characteristic simple cutaway that guarantees excellent access to the last compartments, combined with two single-coil pickups, represent an unmistakable visual signature. This classic configuration has been adopted by Italian manufacturer Eko to make the TL400 an attractive, ergonomic and, above all, versatile guitar for beginner players.

Lightweight, robust luthiery.

Despite its most affordable price, the TL400's luthiery has received the utmost attention to offer guitarists new to the instrument an attractive, well-finished guitar. The body is made from paulownia, a light, robust and resonant wood that provides comfort and beautiful vibrations. The sturdy, comfortable 4-point screwed maple neck is topped by an Eko resin WPC (Wood Polymers Composites) fingerboard, bringing smoothness and stability to the maple snap.

A versatile configuration.

On the electronics side, the TL400 is equipped with 2 single-coil pickups with a well-known layout, much appreciated for their versatility and efficiency. Very much at home on bright clean tones and light saturation, they can also be very biting when combined with powerful distortion. The 3-position selector widens the palette of tones offered by the instrument, with three associated positions, providing clean, precise tones. This electronics configuration delivers the bright, twangy tones typical of this singlecut model, renowned in blues, country or rock music.
