Strings for Guitalele

A set of guitar strings is usually made of six nylon strings. These strings are thinner than those of a classical guitar, and are tuned higher than a standard guitar. In fact, the guitalele is a hybrid between a guitar and a ukulele, and is often tuned in A or G, which is 5 semitones or 4 semitones higher than the standard guitar.

Guitar strings are often labeled with the corresponding notes on each string for easy tuning. Nylon strings produce a soft, warm sound that is well suited to the smaller nature of the instrument.
