Small enough to fit in a pocket, the MVX2U Gen 2 plugs directly into a microphone or an XLR cable. It’s powered via USB-C to reduce cable clutter. The MVX2U Gen 2 delivers up to +60 dB of gain and 48 V phantom power for dynamic and condenser microphones, and includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack for zero-latency monitoring.
The MVX2U Gen 2 integrates MOTIV audio processing technologies like Auto Level mode, Real-Time Denoiser, and Digital Popper Stopper™ to ensure a clean, consistent capture, even in less-than-ideal acoustic environments. Users can manage settings on their desktop, smartphone, or tablet via USB-C in the MOTIV Mix, MOTIV Audio, and MOTIV Video apps. This lets you enable any audio processing and tailor your sound to taste, including tone, EQ, compression, and limiter, as needed.
Built-in Shure digital audio processing, including Auto Level mode, Real-Time Denoiser, and Digital Popper Stopper™, operates with no latency on any XLR microphone. Essential DSP functions (EQ, compressor, limiter, and high-pass filter) are configurable via the Shure MOTIV apps. The MVX2U Gen 2 stores your last settings so your sound stays consistent across devices.
Auto Level mode automatically adjusts gain in real time with the built-in intelligent DSP to maintain a consistent output level. Choose your preferred tone: Dark, Natural, or Bright.
Real-Time Denoiser removes unwanted background noise from speech. Turn it off for singing or acoustic instruments.
Digital Popper Stopper™ reduces plosives. Optimized for speech; best turned off for instruments.
