Description
The interfaces in the RedNet range are designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of audio applications—from live sound to multi-room recording studios, houses of worship, distributed audio installations, post-production environments, and everything in between. Fundamentally, RedNet is a highly scalable audio distribution system that offers near-zero latency and can be used to expand the number of inputs and outputs of digital audio systems and/or serve as a bridge between Pro Tools|HD, the MADI protocol, and the Dante audio network. Incorporating Focusrite’s most advanced A-D/D-A conversion to date, an ultra-stable JetPLL clock, and premium multilayer PCBs, RedNet is true to Focusrite’s philosophy: Sound is everything. Designed and built with meticulous attention to detail, RedNet interfaces stand a cut above the competition, delivering exceptional transparency and some of the best sound quality to date—combined with the groundbreaking capabilities of networked audio systems.

Simple and funky.
RedNet 2 can be used to convert 16 audio channels and also route those signals to any destination on the network with negligible latency. The DB25 connectors, conforming to the AES59 standard, are ideal for interfacing with a patchbay or arranging the I/O in multipairs to feed external hardware or analog mixing consoles.
