And the return of this complete Pearl configuration, discontinued in 2007 to the dismay of cash-strapped musicians, is sure to delight players of all ages. All-new suspension mounts.

Poplar and mahogany.
When it comes to shells, Pearl has managed to consign to the closet the “crate-wood” drums of certain low-cost brands in favor of a six-ply combination of poplar and mahogany—an obviously winning pairing. The same commitment to quality is found throughout the hardware, notably the snare and cymbal stands fitted with the UniLock system, which is formidably effective in any position.
