With a large 5-inch display and extensive connectivity to suit any studio or live setup, it’s equipped with Bluetooth for smartphone control and a built-in battery for mobile use. In addition to serving as an audio interface, its signal chain is now extended to 14 blocks and offers more routing options. It packs ultra-realistic physical amp simulations based on the TS/AC-4K algorithm, and can clone any piece of gear—from pedals to amps—thanks to the DeepImage capture system. Legendary amp models (28 amp models) The MG-50Li features the White-box TS/AC-4K physical modeling algorithm, which is twice as complex as in previous versions. This led NUX to design a new hardware platform with three DSPs: one dedicated to all effects, a second for the amp modeling algorithm, and a third to support amp simulation in split mode. Amp modeling is now split into separate preamp and power amp simulations. You can select different power tube models to craft unique, creative tones. DeepImage amp and effect capture (30 models) NUX further expands sonic possibilities with its proprietary “black-box” technology: DeepImage. It delivers ultra-realistic amp tones by consolidating multi-layer simulations into a single, coherent sound. With DeepImage, guitarists can load their dream amps into the MG-50Li and play anywhere. Using the NUX IMAGE app and DeepImage technology, you can capture your favorite amps, preamps, and overdrive/distortion pedals, then store their profiles directly in the MG-50Li—taking all your go-to tones with you. The NUX IMAGE app also lets you create exceptional sounds by combining these captures with different EQ models and power amp tube types. Cyber IR™ stereo cabinet simulation The MG-50Li is equipped with Cyber IR™ technology, faithfully reproducing impulse responses via an advanced algorithm that supports mic, position, and distance settings, while offering stereo IR capabilities with ultra-low latency. Series/parallel effects chain with 14 effect blocks With up to 14 simultaneous effect blocks and extremely flexible dual-chain routing, the MG-50Li opens the door to infinite tonal possibilities. Musicians can freely customize the effects chain to dial in their ideal sound.
