Handmade by the Custom Shop, this signature humbucker captures the punchy sound of Ryan’s riffs and also defines the character of his Ernie Ball/Music Man StingRay signature guitar.

The FLF model draws directly from two of Fluff’s favorite pickups: the iconic JB Model (SH-4) and the more aggressive Black Winter. By combining one coil from each of these classic Seymour Duncan humbuckers, Fluff and the Custom Shop team found that an Alnico 4 bar magnet delivered the ideal tone, with the desired attack and bite.
The FLF delivers rich mids and a percussive attack—optimal for down-tuned, aggressive rhythm work—while retaining singing highs for super-expressive leads.
Designed for modern/high-gain territory, it provides the powerful attack and cutting crunch that Fluff’s playing demands; yet, roll back the guitar’s volume and the pickup reveals a smoother clean tone, offering a wide tonal palette.
