BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) allows meeting moderators to manage AV equipment from their own laptops To meet the needs of Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) practice, Vivitek, a leading designer of display and collaboration solutions, announces the update of its Novo ecosystem, made up of stand-alone all-in-one solutions and others that simply add to an existing installation, Launchers, software applications and cloud services to create and optimize wireless collaboration (BYOD), presentations and digital signage. The BYOM feature upgrade is optional, and enables the meeting moderator to control all shared AV equipment around him or her, including USB devices such as cameras, microphones and speakers, wirelessly and from his or her laptop. The BYOM update is available immediately for the following Novo solutions: The NC-X700 and NC-X900, complementary wireless collaboration solutions for users who already have a screen or projector and want to add wireless presentation functionality to their existing AV setup, or turn their screen into a digital signage panel. NovoTouch and NovoDisplay, all-in-one collaborative displays that combine 4K UHD resolution with wireless collaboration, videoconferencing and digital signage functions. Unlike NovoDisplay, NovoTouch is an interactive touch screen that also offers a digital whiteboard function.
