Description
Since 1982, the year it first went into production, thousands of aspiring drummers around the world have taken their first steps on this Pearl Export! And the return of this complete configuration from Pearl, discontinued in 2007 to the dismay of cash-strapped musicians, is sure to delight young and old alike. This new edition is enhanced with the Demonator bass drum pedal and a Sabian SBR cymbal pack. All that’s missing is the drummer, not included...
New suspension mounts.
But the innovations don’t stop there, thanks to brand-new tom suspension mounts that rival much more expensive systems. The OptiLoc system uses high-performance rubber components to deliver maximum sustain and rich resonance in any situation. Not to mention that this mounting system adjusts in no time to your usual playing position.
Poplar and mahogany.
When it comes to shells, Pearl has pulled off the feat of banishing the flimsy crate-wood shells used by some low-cost brands in favor of a six-ply poplar-and-mahogany combination—an obviously winning pairing. This commitment to quality is also evident across the hardware, particularly the snare and cymbal stands equipped with the UniLock system, which is highly effective in any position.
