And the return of this complete configuration by Pearl, discontinued in 2007 to the dismay of cash-strapped musicians, is sure to delight young and old alike. This new edition is enhanced with the Demonator bass drum pedal and a Sabian SBR cymbal pack. The only thing missing is the drummer, not included…
All-new suspension mounts.
But the innovations don’t stop there, thanks to brand-new tom suspension mounts that rival far more expensive systems. The OptiLoc system uses high-performance rubber components that deliver maximum sustain and rich resonance in any situation. Not to mention, this mounting system adapts in a snap to your usual playing position.
Poplar and mahogany.
When it comes to woods, Pearl has pulled off the feat of relegating the crate-wood shells of some low-cost brands to the back shelf, opting instead for a six-ply combination of poplar and mahogany—an obviously winning match. This commitment to quality extends to the hardware, especially the snare and cymbal stands featuring the UniLock system, remarkably effective no matter the position you choose.
