The Sub15 is an extremely powerful subwoofer capable of extending the frequency range of main and midfield studio monitors down to 20 Hz. The rugged 15″ woofer features a particularly rigid aluminum cone. It is driven by two powerful magnets and a 100 mm voice coil.

Description
With 1,000 Watts (RMS) of power, the pulse-width modulation (PWM) amplifier delivers an efficiency factor of nearly 90%. Thanks to this performance, the Sub15 can handle critical musical passages containing intense, sudden low-frequency peaks without the slightest sign of distortion or overheating. The slanted port features a special design, with large dimensions and rounded edges, to eliminate any unwanted noise.
To tailor the Sub15’s sound to different room setups or user preferences, we’ve included several controls, notably volume (-60 dB to +60 dB) and crossover frequency (50 Hz–150 Hz). Satellite speakers can be used full-range or high-passed at 85 Hz. This makes it easy to integrate the Sub15 into a Dolby surround setup. The built-in phase invert switch makes it easy to address phase issues between the satellites and the subwoofer, especially around the crossover frequency range.
The Sub15 is also very versatile in terms of connectivity. It features balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs/outputs on the rear panel.
The Sub15 combines excellent transient response with impressive low-frequency performance, delivering authentic musical reproduction. With a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB SPL at one meter, the Sub15 is perfect for medium to large control rooms.
