The new Jupiter JAS1150 alto saxophones combine traditional manufacturing methods with modern technologies. Featuring advanced specifications and impressive resonance, they stand out with their contemporary design.
Ideal for anyone looking to take their sound and creativity to the next level, the Jupiter 1150 alto saxophones are available in three different finishes.
TRADITIONAL DESIGN: the body and neck are made from rolled brass sheets and assembled with precise soldering. This traditional manufacturing method promotes even acoustic vibrations and contributes to a more focused sound with a handcrafted character.
MORE RESONANCE AND CONTROL: a specially developed annealing process is applied to both the neck and the body of the instrument. It reduces stress in the brass and allows the material to vibrate freely. The result: increased resonance, a warmer, more centered tone, and an even, effortless response across the instrument’s entire range.
The new Jupiter engraving on the neck enhances the instrument’s aesthetics.
Ribbed construction (soldered posts on the body) increases durability, ensures stable key alignment, and provides a reliable playing feel.
The new bell brace provides a connection that is both stable and lightweight, delivering better resonance and balanced projection.
The JAS1150 series offers rich resonance and easy response across the instrument’s full range, including the altissimo register. Each instrument comes with an altissimo fingering chart to help musicians fully explore this potential.
