Description

Microphone and paging station inputs allow the system to be expanded or paired with a professional telecommunications system (or any other priority line source). Using the priority contact closure enables the use of powered mixers with an external fire alarm system.

The output level can be adjusted using a master volume control with 2-band tone adjustment. The level is shown on a 5-segment display, while output selection is made possible via a built-in selector. 19" rack-mount (2U) adapters are provided.

The COM12 can deliver 120 watts of output power on a 100-volt constant-voltage line or under a 4-ohm low-impedance load. Six input channels with individual level control let you connect and mix various music sources. Four balanced microphone inputs (XLR) with phantom power (15 V) and two priority levels allow the connection of almost any microphone (dynamic or condenser). Two inputs switchable between unbalanced stereo line (RCA) and microphone (6.3 mm jack) ensure the connection of sources such as a CD player, computer, or portable device, or allow the total number of microphones to be expanded to 6.
