Description

They incorporate Class AB amplification with an output transformer with multiple power settings. An integrated multi-purpose protection circuit protects against DC, short circuits, overheating, overload and limits the signal if necessary. Input connections are made on balanced XLR connectors and XLR crossover output connectors allow connection to other amplifiers. They have a high-pass filter switch (400 Hz) and a gain control potentiometer with which the input sensitivity can be adjusted in a range from -12 dB to 0 dB. A ground suppressor eliminates the hum produced by ground loops. They have a 2-pin strip for connection of a 24-volt backup power source to power the amplifier if the mains supply is disconnected. The output connections are made by means of reliable busbars and are housed in a solidly constructed case occupying two units of 19" rack space.
