Description

A typical use example is the conversion of a speaker-level audio signal to balanced or unbalanced line-level signals. Any type of loudspeaker level signal can be used as an input. For example, the transformed output can be used to power an additional amplifier as an extension of a constant voltage distributed audio system. Another typical application is the connection of recording equipment to loudspeaker lines. By using galvanic isolation between all inputs/outputs, the ATU44MK2 can be used as an acoustic isolation solution, to solve blow and hum problems generated by ground loops.

The front panel switch allows selection of the input signal between line or loudspeaker level. All inputs are connected on terminal blocks while the line output has a male XLR connector. A variety of optional mounting brackets are available for installation under furniture, in a cupboard or in a 19" rack.
