Description
The EPA series adds to this efficiency, full Energy Star compliance allowing these amplifiers to deliver high efficiency in a small footprint and an automatic sleep mode when no audio signal is present at the input terminals.
The AMP523 Mini Amplifier delivers 2 x 15 Watt stereo power with control via an integrated web interface of the four stereo line inputs and a balanced microphone input with phantom power. The compact size and simple features allow for great versatility perfectly suited for small speaker systems that require compact and economical audio solutions that are fully and easily controllable. Some typical applications are classrooms where the audio system will be used in combination with a dynamic board, offices and meeting rooms where the music should automatically switch from background music to speech when the presentation begins. The compact size and very high efficiency make integration easy, it is even possible to hide it in a cupboard, a false ceiling or mount it under a desk or table.
The different stereo line inputs allow simultaneous connection of different sources such as laptops, CD or MP3 players and tablets while having a microphone connected. Switching between inputs, volume control and other control functions can be done in several ways: an integrated website allows control of all functions from any computer with a web browser without the need for additional software, while the RS232 connection allows the AMP523 to be controlled with a serial communication compatible device, such as a computer or even an automation system. The AMP523 can be controlled from the AUDAC application Touch™. The use of the free AUDAC Touch™ application from smartphones or tablets guarantees total control and configuration of the system from any device, in any place and at any time.
To make the installation even more complete, an optional MWX45 wall panel can be installed to control signal routing and volume level from one or more fixed locations. Class D amplifier technology and the included power standby mode allow this unit to comply with environmental requirements with the highest energy efficiency. Various types of mounting brackets are available as options, allowing installation under a desk, in a closet or in a 19" rack.
