Description
Choose an unknown brand or a renowned label? And, with identical features, why this one rather than that one? What criteria should you take into account when making up your mind? Does aesthetics matter? In short: how can you be sure you won’t go wrong? Wanting to want. With the Lâg T70 series models, you get a wide choice of body formats (dreadnought or auditorium), finishes (sunburst or natural), the electro-acoustic option, with or without a built-in tuner (HIT). These are guitars aimed at beginners who, by definition, will have a hard time pushing them to their limits for lack of instrumental technique. They will therefore rely on subjective elements such as playing comfort or aesthetics—things that make you want to pick up the instrument more often and thus progress faster. In this case, they’ll be well served! Chic—and above all, striking. And that’s exactly the case with these T70s: satin finish, distinctive rosette, black graphite nut and saddle, and matte black machine heads (sealed, oil-lubricated, if you please). So much for looks. But two criteria remain important. First, playability: an experienced guitarist can adapt to the instrument and even fine-tune its setup, but a beginner may struggle. The guitar is a very physical instrument, and it’s important that the fretting hand plays with ease. And that’s the case with these T70s: a slim, comfortable neck with a perfectly set action (string-to-fretboard distance) that will spare novice players the woes of those first aches and pains. A balanced sound with beautiful projection. Finally, tone matters, and here the T70s deliver a balanced sound between lows and highs, thanks of course to the solid Engelmann spruce soundboard. Of course, dreadnoughts project more volume than auditoriums, which are more subtle and better suited to fingerstyle playing; their smaller footprint also suits players of smaller stature particularly well. In any case, if you choose an electro-acoustic version with its DirectLâg GT2 preamp, you’ll benefit from all the sonic qualities of these guitars at any volume, without the risk of unwanted feedback, thanks to its many fine-tuning options. In short, guitars that impress with their refined look and offer excellent value for money. And if you consider the competition, you’ll see there’s hardly a challenger. - Hardware: Satin black - Bracing: X - Category: Folk - Bridge: Brown Brankowood - Strings: Steel - Factory strings: Coated phosphor bronze Light 12–52 - Color: Natural - Scale length: 650 mm - Dimensions: 1080 x 485 x 140 mm - Finish: Satin - Back & sides: Sapele Open Pore - Body shape: Dreadnought - Nut width: 43 mm - Neck: Okoume - Tuners: Sealed, oil-lubricated, 1:15 ratio - Number of strings: 6 - Number of frets: 20 - Weight: 3 kg - Radius: 350 mm - Nut and saddle: Compensated black graphite / 72 mm & 43 mm - Top: Solid Engelmann spruce - Truss rod: Dual-action - Fingerboard: Brown BrankoWood - Fret type: Medium silver nickel - Headstock: Brown Brankowood
