This new keyboard gets a lot of features that put it squarely in the (very) big league.
First, let's talk about the sound engine. The Pa1000's benefits from four times more PCM memory than the Pa900 and therefore extends the amount of user PCM memory to 600MB using compression. This translates into instruments with more dynamics and therefore a higher quality performance. The number of User Style slots has also been expanded to a maximum of 1,152 which will cover almost every style imaginable (also revised). Alongside this, the built-in speaker system has been enhanced to produce even more powerful and dynamic sound via standard features such as the TC Helicon vocal harmonizer, a dual MP3 player and recorder and the dual Crossfade sequencer. Note: the video output is standardized, so your audience can sing along to the lyrics displayed on the screen.
