Description

EBS 802 preamplifier is the most versatile EBS has ever designed, thanks to its many control and equalization possibilities. Not only does it offer independently sweepable controls for the mid-range frequencies (low-mids and high-mids), but the bass and treble controls are also extended with switches to change the reference frequency of these filters. The EBS 802 is thus equipped to meet the special requirements of 5- and 6-string bass players, and can be adapted to all musical styles!

The Bright knob completes the EQ section and works almost like a volume control for tweeters. The preamp also has separate Lo and Hi boost character filters, a compressor/limiter and a Drive control.

The rear of the amp reveals a dual XLR output, for post and pre EQ, an effects loop, two Speakon outputs, a Line output, inputs for switchable control (such as the EBS RM-4 footswitch) to control Mute, Drive, to activate the character filters and deactivate the EQ settings.
