One of the major evolutions of the MKII version is the addition of a powerful DSP that can be remotely controlled by dedicated software via an Ethernet connection. The LINEAR 5 MKII can thus be managed over a network. What's more, HK has provided for the possibility of integrating into the network loudspeakers that don't have their own DSP.

The LINEAR 5 MK II 118 Sub HPA offer a rich base in the low-frequency range. Depending on application requirements, the subwoofers can also be installed in a 1:1 cardioid configuration to avoid low-frequency interference at the rear of the installation.
