Compatible with the leading DAWs on the market, such as ProTools, Ableton Live, Logic or Cubase, the UF8 features 8 slices, each with a high definition LCD display, an endless encoder identical to the one fitted to the SSL AWS and Duality, and a touch-sensitive motorized 100mm fader.

Thoughtfully designed to optimize your studio work, the UF8 allows you to control multiple DAWs simultaneously with the 3 available layers, and features a Channel main rotary encoder that allows you to navigate the DAW's timeline, track banks, and emulate the mouse for fast and precise control. It also features dedicated automation sections and dual-function selector keys for quick access to selected functions. In total, no less than 43 keys are assignable to your DAWs, via 5 banks of 8 user keys, complemented by 3 quick access keys.

While the 8 slices and numerous customizable keys available on a UF8 already offer extensive control over your workflow, some larger projects require even more control. Aware of this, SSL has thought of everything by allowing to chain, via USB link, up to 4 UF8 in a row in order to obtain up to 32 slices and 172 customizable buttons for your most ambitious projects! The SSL 360° software, downloadable from the SSL website, is the preferred administration solution for your UF8, allowing you to map a DAW to each layer, modify shortcuts and advanced options.

It would have been a shame to spoil the incredible performance of this professional USB DAW controller with average ergonomics. But SSL, with its decades of experience in designing professional studio gear, has thought of everything.
