The new Anthology will be no exception and is sure to become very popular! The innovative design of the HHX Anthology offers a full spectrum of ride and crash sounds on each cymbal, with no compromise on sound or feel. Unprecedented control and tonal range offering new possibilities for the drummer to play and create in their own way and without limits.
Between tradition and modernism
The HHX Anthology series is the culmination of the fundamental innovations of HHX cymbals, bringing together traditional and contemporary sounds in one cymbal. Combining AAX and HHX hammering to achieve the essence of AAX, which is a pure, bright sound and the specifics of HHX that offer a thin cymbal and bring a darker sound.
Two types of sounds
The Anthology series offers two series: Low and High. This allows you to select the type of sound you want. A slightly lower pitch for the Low series and a much smaller bell. As for the High series, a higher pitch and a higher bell. This traditional, powerful and rich sounding crash offers a full spectrum of ride and crash sound possibilities in one cymbal. The HHX Anthology makes no compromises on sound or feel. It's just like Jojo Mayer, precise, powerful and versatile.
The attention to detail
The rings on the Anthology logo are a visual representation of how this product unifies past, present, tradition and Sabian research.
The Anthology logo is curved and placed at 10:00, giving it its own space without cluttering the HHX space. All this to create an interesting balance that makes this cymbal unique to the sight and incredible to the sound.
The Anthology and HHX logo have lighter outlines in gold ink on the hammered portion. The hammered bronze creates a subtle tone-on-tone effect that gives the cymbal a sense of understated, minimalist luxury.
The Sabian logos, size as well as weight are inscribed on the back side of the cymbal.
