Description
The RedNet family of interfaces has been designed to meet the needs of a wide range of audio applications-from live sound to multi-cabin recording studios, houses of worship, distributed audio installations, post-production environments, and everything in between. Fundamentally, RedNet is a highly scalable audio distribution system that offers near-zero latency and can be used to expand the number of inputs and outputs of digital audio systems and/or serve as a bridge between Pro Tools|HD, MADI protocol, and the Dante audio network. Featuring Focusrite's most advanced AD/DA conversion to date, an ultra-stable JetPLL clock, and high-end multilayer PCBs, RedNet is no exception to Focusrite's philosophy: Sound is everything. Designed and built with extreme attention to detail, RedNet interfaces are a step above the competition, delivering transparency and some of the best sound quality to date - combined with the revolutionary capabilities of networked audio systems.
The HD32R is a bi-directional interface that allows a ProTools|HD system to access a Dante network. Each unit functions as a 64 channel (32 in/ 32 out) interface and supports a wide range of Pro Tools|HDX and HD cards (up to 6 HD32R modules can be used with a Pro Tools|HDX and 3 with a Pro Tools|HD).
