The PZ-Deluxe is the little sister of the PZ PRE. Like all RADIAL preamps, this pedal features high-end components for uncompromising low-noise sound and is capable of exceptional dynamics and is suitable for all instruments, but its main focus is on acoustic guitar. For piezoelectric transducers, a special PZB gain circuit can be engaged, which increases the input impedance to 10 M Ohms to eliminate plops and other noise. Although the controls are not as extensive as on its big sister, it still has an input gain, a semi-parametric 3-band EQ with variable midrange, a 3-position low-frequency crossover and a phase reversal switch. The PZ-Deluxe's low impedance, balanced output allows for long cable runs (over 100 meters) with minimal interference, and a separate tuner output allows for silent on-stage tuning by pressing the 'Mute' button. And for solos, another variable gain circuit, with level control, allows you to go 'ahead' in the mix when necessary.
