Description
These British amp heads and their many cabinets were modified at the time to push the gain level even further and bring out the guitar heroes' wild solos in the mix! These "hot-rod" amp heads delivered powerful, warm yet cutting distortions that founded the first hard-rock and metal anthems.
The Nux Brownie Distortion recreates the preamp and power section of this "Brown Sound" with hybrid circuitry that reproduces the asymmetrical clipping characteristic of these tube amps. This keeps bass frequencies tight and defined even with a lot of gain, for a powerful yet precise sound. With its simple and musical features, the Brownie Distortion pedal is truly a great classic distortion pedal in a very focused format!
