Developed by Singular Sound, they are available in two models: BeatBuddy, which offers exceptional sound and very advanced setting possibilities, and its BeatBuddy Mini 2 alter-ego, which concentrates the essential functions of the BeatBuddy in a compact, ready-to-use format. These singular pedals use MIDI files to perform compositions loaded in their memory, from a bank of sounds from professional drummers' recordings.
Very versatile, the BeatBuddy is aimed at singers, guitarists, bassists or keyboardists who want to benefit from a realistic and evolutionary rhythmic support. These drum machines are also very effective for drummers who would like to rely on a metronome that sounds much more pleasant than the market standards.
Offering exclusive and unique features, they have been specially designed for a quick grip like most guitar pedals, and can be connected directly between a guitar and an amplifier. With a single press of the pedal, you can start or stop a song, insert a break, or start a transition between two parts of a song. This unique feature gives musicians complete control over the rhythm of the song. Thanks to the proprietary algorithm developed for the Beatbuddy, the rhythm is maintained at all times, while maintaining smooth, natural transitions. The LCD screen displays essential information and acts as a highly readable and intuitive visual metronome.
For users who want to create new drum kits with their own sounds and insert new rhythms, the Beatbuddy offers advanced programming features via the Beatbuddy Manager software. Adding or removing parts to songs or breaks, programming the accent that will mark the rhythm of a cymbal shot or a clap of hands becomes possible in a few clicks !
