HERITAGE AUDIO MOTORCITY-EQ 7 Band Equalizer
The Heritage Audio MOTORCITY EQualizer was recreated from Motown units owned by eight-time Grammy-winning producer Michael Brauer.
Heritage Audio left no stone unturned in tracing the signature of an undeniably huge, punchy, warm sound.
From the hand-brushed 10-gauge aluminum faceplate, to the historically accurate control layout, including custom molded Bakelite knobs, the MOTORCITY EQ looks just like the original. More importantly, the unique passive EQ circuitry is identical and completely faithful to the original design. The MOTORCITY EQualizer is so accurate that it is the only equalizer available that can compete with the popular Pultec EQ.
The MOTORCITY EQualizer is a fully analog, passive equalizer with seven accessible frequency points across the tonal spectrum. Each frequency has a scaled rotary switch, capable of a flat up or down response, up to 8db in 1dB increments. The frequency points scale from 50hz, 130hz, 320hz and 800hz before moving to 2000hz, 5000hz, peaking at 12,500hz.It has a gain control (-8db / + 8db), again in 1 dB increments.
- UTC replica input transformer exclusively designed for Heritage Audio.
- Line output amp made by Carnhill.
- Lever switch in/out/off allows you an A/B listening the effect of equalization.
