His research led him to our Parlor, a format traditionally favored by blues and folk guitarists, which is enjoying a resurgence in popularity for its small size that's as comfortable as it is portable, and its sound full of character. Together, we designed an instrument that reflects both his creativity and his attention to detail.
After a successful collaboration on a first signature model, Vianney wanted to explore new sounds and offer guitarists a new experience, while adding his own touch of originality. His research led him to our Parlor, a format traditionally favored by blues and folk guitarists, which is enjoying a resurgence in popularity for its small, comfortable and portable size, and its full-bodied sound. Together, we have designed an instrument that reflects both his creativity and his attention to detail.
To ensure both a wide sound spectrum and warm resonance, Vianney chose a solid Engelmann spruce top, combined with a Khaya mahogany body. Marking the singularity of this instrument and to optimize resonance, we opted for bone head and bridge saddles and brass pegs. Finally, to ensure high-quality amplification that faithfully reproduces the guitar's acoustic sound, the ViAN-002 is equipped with our Stage Lâg pre-amp, featuring 3-band equalization, a notch filter and a tuner, ideal for the stage.
