Description
This configuration enables precise management of openness states (closed, semi-open, open, and intermediate transitions), ensuring dynamic, expressive control that faithfully reflects acoustic playing techniques.
Large-diameter pads, including the snare, ride cymbal, and floor tom, enhance both the playing surface and onstage visibility. This design optimizes stroke mechanics, reduces accidental hits, and ensures a consistent response across all playing zones.
The sound module is built on proprietary VariTone™ technology, leveraging advanced modeling and processing algorithms. This technology combines a high-definition sample library with precise positional and velocity sensing. It delivers detailed sound reproduction with a wide dynamic range and natural transitions between intensities, faithfully recreating the behavior of an acoustic drum kit.
In terms of connectivity, the DM-310H features a multichannel USB audio interface, allowing simultaneous recording of audio and MIDI data directly into a DAW. Up to 8 discrete audio tracks can be routed individually, providing precise control over mixing, processing, and post-production, both in the studio and in live setups.
The system also includes a built-in Coach function structured around four technical practice modes. These modes target accent control, rhythmic stability, tempo internalization in silent contexts, and consistency during gradual tempo changes. They serve as an advanced educational tool for developing precision, endurance, and tempo mastery.
Finally, the AUX IN input streamlines the integration of external sources. Thanks to a 3.5 mm TRRS connection, the user can record the module’s audio signal and video simultaneously directly to a smartphone, without additional interfaces or complex routing. This feature facilitates quick performance capture, the creation of educational content, or online streaming.
With its technical design, advanced sound engine, and extensive connectivity options, the DM-310H stands out as a versatile, high-performance solution for drummers seeking precision, realism, and operational efficiency.
