PEARL EXX705NNBRC-31 Fusion 20" 5-piece - Fusion 20" 5-piece - Fusion 20/10/12/14/Snare 14 + HWP-834 hardware pack + PX 14/16/2
On paper, the features of this new Pearl Export are stunning. But that's nothing compared to what awaits you when you try it in-store!
Since 1982, the year it first went into production, thousands of aspiring drummers around the world have taken their first steps on this Pearl Export! And the return of this complete Pearl configuration, discontinued in 2007 to the dismay of budget-conscious musicians, can only delight young and old alike. This new edition now includes the Demonator bass drum pedal and a Sabian SBR cymbal pack. All that’s missing is the drummer, not included…
Innovative suspension mounts.
But the new features don’t stop there, thanks to brand-new tom suspension mounts that rival far more expensive systems. The Opti-Loc system uses high-performance rubber isolators to deliver maximum sustain and great resonance in all circumstances. Not to mention that this mounting system adjusts in no time to your usual playing position.
Poplar and mahogany.
When it comes to wood, Pearl has managed to put to shame the flimsy “crate-wood” shells of some low-cost brands in favor of a six-ply combination of poplar and mahogany—an obviously winning pairing. This attention to quality is also found across the hardware, notably the snare and cymbal stands fitted with the highly effective Uni-Lock system, whatever position you choose.
An attractive kit.
And what about the Demonator bass drum pedal, which by itself can justify choosing an Export kit? A pedal that combines smart adjustability with ease of use and all the comfort you could want. These attractive technical features will surely convince you when you try it at your music store. Because the sound is truly there—warm, precise, and of course, powerful.
Elegant and sturdy at the same time.
Experienced players know that the
Pearl Export has reigned over the entry-level drum market for more than 40 years while being as refined on the inside as it is on the outside. The finish is such that you won’t risk a splinter when changing a head! On the outside, apart from the Junior, each of the three configurations comes in six finishes, including the beautiful “Satin Scarlet.” Moreover, Pearl has always been renowned for the quality and longevity of its hardware. Yet this new version raises the bar even higher. Parents can rest assured: this drum kit is perfect for young players, but not only for them!
A legendary, versatile drum kit.
Poplar: an ideal wood for entry- to mid-range drum kits
Warm, balanced sound
Poplar produces a smooth, warm, well-balanced sound, with present mids and rounded lows.
It tames overly aggressive frequencies, which is ideal for beginners or studio drummers.
Good sound projection
Even
though poplar is softer than maple or birch, it offers good natural resonance and sufficient projection for rehearsals, small stages, or recordings.
All that’s left is to play…
By
including with the Export a new HWP-834 hardware pack consisting of a Demonator bass drum pedal, a Demon-style hi-hat stand, an S-830 snare stand and, now, two BC-930 combo cymbal stands, plus a set of cymbals, this kit is ideal for getting started. Pearl has thought of everyone taking their first steps.
With accessories like these, a pro could take it on tour without a second thought. Good news: this iconic, ready-to-play drum kit is ready to take on any challenge! In this highly versatile version, it remains the dream tool for starting out in style.
New cymbal pack
The
latest version of the Export is now equipped with the Sabian PX cymbal pack, offering a complete setup straight out of the box.

PX 14" HI-HATS
Precise and explosive, they cut through the mix with clarity and definition.
PX 16" CRASH
Smooth articulation with a defined, controlled response and a balanced sound.
PX 20" RIDE
A rich, expansive ride with controlled resonance and a clearly defined bell.
