**Vigore options.**
The Vigore options available for this series allow you to include hand-made professional flute features on an accessibly priced instrument. Vigore instruments come with a 3-karat gold-alloy lip plate, a B/C# trill key, and a D# roller on models equipped with a B footjoint. An innovation that could only come from Pearl.

**Pearl – A tradition of innovation.**
Pearl’s handcrafting process is the result of a long tradition. From student models to professional models, each instrument is designed to accompany every stage of a flutist’s career. To ensure enduring quality, the Japanese firm launched a unique apprenticeship program at its factory in Chiba, Japan, so that seasoned artisans can share their expertise with the next generations of craftspeople.

**One-Piece Core-Bar, a mechanical innovation.**
The One-Piece Core-Bar system, used on all of the brand’s flutes, eliminates the recurring problems found on models from other manufacturers that lack it. Pearl designed a rod that runs through the key posts, from high C to F#, making the mechanism more reliable and giving it a smoother feel, for greater durability and reduced maintenance.

**Pinless Construction, the pinless system.**
All Pearl flutes are built using the brand’s patented Pinless process. When combined with the mechanism, this system eliminates one of the issues encountered by traditional makers: small pins that snag clothing and allow perspiration and skin acidity to penetrate. This can harm the instrument by causing corrosion and stiff keys. This drawback has been eliminated by inserting pin screws beneath the mechanism, removing the need for traditional pins. A simple solution to a recurring problem—someone had to think of it…
