Altus ASA13R-S flute, C footjoint, Legend series Altus was the first flute maker to use Britannia silver with a fineness of 958, and it also distinguished itself by drawing inspiration from models once made by Louis Lot. The use of Britannia silver gives the Altus A13 flute a darker timbre and greater resonance due to the higher density of this material. This provides the player with more options for varied intonation as well as a greater dynamic range.
