Description

So, after a call to La Maestra, Maricela "MJ" Suarez (Custom Shop Seymour Duncan), a new mic kit was born. All of the fat, powerful P.A.F. as well as the characteristic sizzle of Billy's sound was painstakingly recreated in a single-coil Strat mic, proving that a sound as big as Texas can be contained in such a small mic.

The Red Devil for Strat consists of three specially calibrated pickups with Alnico 5 magnets. The bridge pickup is wound in such a way as to reproduce the spice of a P.A.F. and the power of Billy's sound. The neck and middle pickups bring Billy's signature warmth and bluesy grit, making them perfect for clean sounds, rhythm or lead.

Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California, the Red Devil Series for Strat features Alnico 5 magnets, 4-conductor wiring, and the pickups benefit from a wax bath for optimal performance.
