To capture his signature sound, Seymour Duncan relied on typical 50's underwound strat pickups, with slightly raised Alnico 5 pads specifically calibrated to dig into the mids and accentuate the lows and highs.

Displayed with black, white, parchment or cream covers, the Scooped Strat set was previously only available through the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop, its addition to the standard catalog reduces cost and production time.
