SEYMOUR DUNCAN CLEAN-SET-W

Cory Wong Clean Machine - Set, White

Cory Wong, known for the solid funk he distills in the bands Vulfpeck and Fearless Flyers, has signed a signature Stratocaster model to Fender in 2021.

Longtime user of Seymour Duncan pickups, it was a no-brainer for him to associate the Santa Barbara brand with the design of his signature pickup set.

Description

Fan of the Antiquity II Surfer sets for their classic, full-bodied grain and Everything Axe for its ability to handle big overdrive, Cory Wong developed the perfect kit with Seymour Duncan to combine these two qualities. The neck and middle position pickups in the Clean Machine set feature Alnico IV magnets, while the bridge pickup is a single-format double mounted with Alnico V, for extra bite, all very slightly over-wound to ensure a thick sound.

Handcrafted at the Seymour Duncan workshop in Santa Barbara, California (USA), the pickups in the Cory Wong Clean Machine set are designed with stepped pads, specific for Fender 7.25" radii and feature a pristine white look, differentiating them from the aged-finish Antiquity.
