Description

Ideal for guitars with a low radius or for guitarists who use unspun G strings. The APS-2 has similar characteristics to the APS-1 but with the same size studs, which equalizes the rendering of each string and is better suited for flat neck radiuses. This balance is especially noticeable on the bends (less volume loss). Like the APS-1, the pickup sounds vintage; it will distort faster than the SSL-2 which has an Alnico 5 magnet. mic will sound better with ash, alder and linden bodies with maple or rosewood fingerboards.
